Enna Ikuta is a Japanese-American artist from Los Angeles whose practice centers on textiles. Working primarily with natural fibers and dyes, she engages deeply with the inherent qualities of her materials—seeking abstraction as a means to transform both medium and meaning to create her sculptures and garments.
Her work explores themes of introspection and transience, using process-driven methods to uncover unconventional approaches to form and material. Each piece is the result of a search—an invitation to pause, reflect, and experience the subtle interplay between the inner self and the surrounding world.
Ikuta received her BFA in Textiles from the Rhode Island School of Design in 2018.
